
Kade Haas, an Alabama native, has joined Advanced Biological Marketing (ABM) as our Regional Sales Associate in the Southeast United States. We recently sat down with Kade to learn more about him and what has led him to want to work for ABM. Learn more about Kade’s career background and aspirations below.
What is your educational and/or business background?
Prior to joining the ABM® team as the Regional Sales Manager for South East United States, I spent 11+ years as an Agronomist, studying the seed health and treatment options of row crops and forages. I earned my B.S. and Masters in Agronomy from Auburn University.
How did you get into this line of work?
Growing up on a farm, I’ve always loved the outdoors, working hands-on with the crops and animals and problem solving any issues that would arise on the farm – especially when it came to the crops. Over the years, I’ve learned the importance of ensuring our crops, and the land around them, are as healthy as possible. This is one of the main reasons why I have spent many years studying how we can provide better solutions for overall plant health.
Who is someone that has been a mentor and/or influencer on your life?
It might sound cliché, but I would have to say my parents. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Their encouragement and guidance have helped motivate me to get to this point in my career.
What are you most passionate about within your job?
I’m surprised you haven’t guess it yet – it’s the science. It brings me a lot of joy to know I am helping people produce more food for the world, all while helping crops be a better fit for the environment. It’s the problem-solving. The “finding solutions”. The “knowing I am helping farmers feed the world.”
What are you passionate about outside of work?
My family, hands down. I have a wife and 2 daughters who mean the world to me and I enjoy spending my free time with them. My family and I are also heavily involved in horses, sports, duck/quail hunting and raising hunting dogs. “Free time” is rare as a family of four, but we make the best of it.

How did you hear about ABM?
As an Agronomist, I’ve been heavily involved with testing various products from a multitude of companies, so I’ve known about ABM for quite some time. I spent a lot of time working with farmers, getting them to test the ABM products in their fields, so I knew the ABM products pretty intimately.
Why did you choose to work for ABM?
ABM has always been known to be a leader in the inoculant industry. After spending many years in previous positions studying and testing ABM’s products with farmers, I knew working for a company focused on the environment was where I wanted to be. ABM produces products you know you can stand behind – which is what it’s all about.
