Meet Bruce
Thank you for wanting to learn more about Agrauxine. I started with Agrauxine as a Regional Sales Manager covering Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan in August of 2011. Prior to coming to Agrauxine, I was with a large regional seed company in Indiana focusing on sales and marketing for 16 years. I’ve been heavily involved in both the seed and agriculture industries since graduating from Purdue University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy.
My wife Stacey and I reside in Madison, IN. We have 4 children, with two in college and two out on their own. Stacey and I enjoy the outdoors and hosting friends and family at our home by the pool. I also enjoy hunting and fishing and getting in that occasional game of golf.
Innovation
What intrigues me the most about Agrauxine’s biological products is that our products are bringing a new era of technology now available to farmers. Over the past 20 years new technologies such as genetically modified organisms (GMO), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Yield monitoring systems, auto-steer on tractors and combines, etc. have brought more efficiency and productivity to the farming community. Just in the last 5 years new advances in the uses of biological technology are bringing a new level of productivity and profitability to farmers, A recent study indicates that by the year 2016, the use of biologicals as seed treatments will increase by 500%.
iGET™ Technology
For me, one of the most impressive technologies found in Agrauxine’s products is our exclusive patented iGET™ Technology (Induced Gene Expression Triggers Technology). This technology offers multifunctional and crop specific blends of beneficial strains of Trichoderma microbials. Learn more.
The iGET™ Technology can be found in many of Agrauxine’s product line-up such as:
SabrEx® for Corn
SabrEx® for Wheat/Cereals
Excalibre-SA™
Graph-Ex SA™
Graph-Ex SA™ for Cover Crops
Graph-Ex SA™ for Dry Beans
Graph-Ex SA™ for Alfalfa/Clover
Naturall™ for Vegetables
From the Field
The drought that we experienced in 2012 was the worst we have seen for decades. The lack of rainfall and extremely high temperatures reaching 105° have left our crop yields short. One concern we have going into the 2013 planting season is the survival of soybean Rhizobia cells in the soil. If you found your farming operation located in the extreme drought locations across the US, I would strongly encourage you to read the article published by retired professor from Ohio State University Dr. Jim Beuerlein.
At Agrauxine we offer soybean inoculant products such as Excalibre-SA™ a commercially applied inoculant, and Graph-Ex SA™ a farmer applied planter box inoculant treatment to assist you in building your Rhizobia populations.
